Interesting Fact
Did you know that there is a rose that bears the name of Abraham Darby which was originally cultivated by
David Austin Roses of Wolverhampton, a picture appears below

Another Interesting Fact

A source close to SMADS has exclusively informed me that the Bands have been the subject of close scrutiny in a very sober body in the north. My source has revealed that a CD of the recent Glasgow and Manchester weekend had been played at a recent meeting and that the general overall comment was disbelief that the music was played by bands from a single state school. The name of this appreciative body was no less than the Whitby Music Appreciation Society. I have further been advised that they have requested further CDs because they liked the music so much.

There's me thinking that Whitby was only interested in other scales, of a fishy variety.
